ŞABAN / THE STRANGER
Turkish actor Kemal Sunal, star of over 80 socially critical comedies until his death in 1995, here plays the ingenious simpleton Şaban, a legend in Turkey since the Seventies. In this film Şaban comes to Germany and develops very unusual survival strategies involving cows and child benefit in order to make it in the country of his dreams.
