Slovenia for most people is just a green strip on their way to the Adria. Its self-perception is that it is not a part of the Balkans. The fact that the country boasts a superb music, literature and dance scene, some of the region´s foremost thinkers and a subculture in reaction to Western mainstream influences remains hidden for people in transit. Balkan black box offers an opportunity to look left and right of the motorway and presents Hip Hop, Jazz readings and the hottest music from Laibach.
